The Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) plans to appoint Two Assistant Professors in the ICSSR Project on "Universal Health Coverage" in the scale of pay of Rs.15,600-39,100 Grade Pay: Rs.6,000/- with usual allowances admissible from time to time for a period of one year.
Essential Quali?cation:
The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Economics with specialization in health economics and policy. A Ph.D. submitted will also be considered eligible. At least ? ve years of research experience in the ?eld of health economics and policy. Preferable areas of interest health ?nancing, health equity and health and development. In addition, the candidate must have knowledge of statistical packages like STATA/SPSS. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least three publications in reputed journals. The Institute can consider suitable candidates who may not have applied. The Institute may decide not to ? ll the above positions, if circumstances so warrant. The Institute reserves the right to call short-listed candidates for interview.
Other things being equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates will be preferred.
