About the Conference
The goal of the International Conference on Banking and Finance is to enhance the exchange of ideas and experience between India and other countries. The conference is an ideal platform for policymakers, academicians, researchers and practitioners form different countries to share their knowledge, views, concerns and research ? ndings. A large number of issues will be discussed, including not only the management and regulation of ? nancial institutions but also the problems facing corporations trying to raise ?nance and manage their risks in ? nancial markets. Speci?c topics include the changing paradigm for ?nancial sector regulations, risk management in banks, the emergence of new ?nancial intermediaries, ?nancial inclusion, product innovations, innovation in payment mechanisms, ?nancial management practices, corporate governance and risk mitigation techniques.
Publication
Global Business Review (GBR) will have a special issue based on 10 to 12 papers from this conference. All authors whose papers are accepted for presentation at the conference will be invited to submit the papers to GBR and the acceptance for publication shall be based on the usual double blind refereeing process followed by GBR.Sage Publications will come out with an edition of selected papers from the conference during June/July 2013.
