Call for Research Articles

The aim of this conference organized by the Centre for Development Economics and Innovation Studies jointly with Indialics-Indian Chapter of Globelics-is to bring together the researchers and policymakers, who are engaged in development processes and innovation policies in the emerging economies, from around the world to deliberate on the issue at hand. The conference will cover the topics dealing with aspects of economic development and innovation policies such as science and technology policy,

innovation systems (national, sectoral regional) inclusive development, inclusive innovations, eco-innovations, human capital, education, health, trade, transfer of technology, patents, publications, innovation survey, research collaborations, policy evaluations, etc.

Theoretically informed empirical papers from the emerging economies will be preferred. Submission: Researchers, scientists and policy makers are invited to submit a paper by September 22, 2012. Extended abstract up to 1000 words can also be accepted for submission, but preference will be given to full papers. Please submit the paper to Professor Lakhwinder Singh, Coordinator, CDEIS, Punjabi University at email: [email protected]. If the submission is accepted, a formal invitation letter will be sent to you by September 25, 2012. Limited funding is available to meet travel and accommodation. Priority will be given to early career researchers and doctoral scholars with innovative and high-quality papers.
