Call for papers for National Seminar on 'Youth and Volunteerism'

The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur and State NSS Cell, Arunachal Pradesh invite papers from academicians, practitioners and researchers to

be presented at a national seminar on 'Youth and Volunteerism' on 22nd and 23rd August 2011 at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The seminar aims to discuss interface of youth with volunteerism

from different perspectives. It also seeks to facilitate convergence of ideas in regard to civic participation of youth and come up with suggestions for mainstreaming volunteerism into institutional

framework. The papers must offer insights into youth concerns and address the question how volunteerism can inspire young people and revitalize the community. The sub-themes are..

The abstract (250 words) along with full length (4,000 words) papers should reach the organizers on or before 15.07.2011. The authors of the selected papers will be provided with III A/C railway fare, boarding and accommodation.
