International Conference on Life Skills Education
Date: 08th ? 10th December, 2010
The universal challenge in the knowledge driven society is developing human potential with the necessary skills that the twenty fi rst century demands. In pursuance of this goal it becomes imperative to learn how to learn. As recommended by the Delor's report of UNESCO a learning society is built upon the four pillars of education i.e. learning to know, learning to be, learning to do and learning to live together which forms the basis of life skills education. In the context of globalization and knowledge economy, education for sustainable development calls for wider application of life skills approach in education which focuses on acquiring the requisite knowledge, attitude and skills. With this background the international conference on Life Skills Education is organised to facilitate interaction among academicians, life skills practitioners, international agencies, policy makers and researchers on single platform for knowledge sharing. Those who are interested in presenting papers in the conference may visit the following website or more details.
