The Population Health and Nutrition Research Programme (PHN-RP) at IHD have been initiated in early-2012 involving a number of research projects on child nutrition, health financing and health policy evaluations. Position of Research Associate at IHD IHD is looking for Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate who will be responsible for research activities at the PHN-RP. Some key responsibilities include: 1. Contributing in developing research proposals and liaison with funding agencies 2. Assisting PIs in management of research projects, both desk-based and field studies 3. Data analysis and writing research reports 4. Producing quality research publications Essential Qualifications and Skills 1. Advanced degree (minimum Masters) in Statistics/Economics/Public Health with a UGC-NET/JRF in social sciences or related disciplines. Applications without a NET/JRF certificate will not be considered. 2. At least 2 years of research experience in health and nutrition-related research projects/organizations. 3. Proven expertise in handling survey datasets on health and nutrition using statistical software (SPSS and STATA), and familiarity with advanced statistical/econometric techniques 4. Record of peer-reviewed research publications in national/international journals 5. Ability to work independently as well as in a team, take initiative and handle detail Salary will be comparable to similar positions in leading research institutions of the country and commensurate with skills and experience.
