Applications are invited for three senior positions in Economics.

   - Applicants for the position of Professor are required to have a PhD in Economics, a substantial research and publication record, and substantial experience in teaching and postgraduate supervision. A professor is expected to take a leading role in promoting research in the school.

   - Applicants for the position of Associate Professor are required to have a PhD in Economics, a well-developed research and publication record, and experience in teaching and postgraduate supervision.

The School is particularly interested in applicants with research interests in the broad areas of economic history, econometric theory, energyeconomics, law and economics, international trade, mathematical economics,microeconomics (especially game theory and industrial organization),macroeconomics (especially growth and development), political economy, and public economics. Applicants should be able to teach a variety of topics in the core areas of microeconomics and macroeconomics. Experience in teaching econometrics and quantitative techniques will be an advantage.
