This four-day introductory seminar-workshop will provide a balance of theory and personal practice in the approach to understanding and improving human evaluation begun by Alfred Korzybski, a Polish-American Engineer and Mathematician. Korzybski proposed General Semantics as a system of understanding humanity and nuances of communication, and a set of practical methods for a saner living by minimizing violence and developing a creatical (creative and critical) outlook.
Bruce Kodish has recently published Korzybski: A Biography.
Registration
Each participant is required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) through a bank draft payable to Balvant Parekh Centre for General Semantics and Other Human Sciences in Baroda. The last date for receiving application for participation and registration fee is: December 10, 2012.
