- ISNI (International Standard Name Identifier)
- ISO-certified global standard for the identification of authors or
creators across broad fields, including: writers, performers, producers, researchers, artists, institutions and publishers.
- ISNI numbers are generally assigned by authorised institutions, such as publishers and libraries.

- Provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher.
- Enhance
your ORCID record with your professional information and link to your other identifiers (such as Scopus or ResearcherID or LinkedIn).

- Good for disciplines which are covered by Web of Science.
- Once
registered, you are assigned a unique identifier that enables researchers to manage their publication lists, track their times cited counts and h-index, identify potential collaborators and avoid author misidentification.

- Scopus automatically generates an author ID.
All the documents in Scopus belonging to a specific author will be listed in the author's details (including numbers of citations received, affiliations, h-index).

- Access Scopus from the databases tab on the library homepage.
