IWREC 10th Annual Meeting, 28-29 August 2012
Call for papers
The International Water Resource Economics Consortium (IWREC) is the
premiere global platform for water economists to initiate, share,
disseminate and debate new research on water economics. The IWREC 10th
Annual Meeting will be hosted by the Stockholm International Water
Institute and held during the 2012 World Water Week in Stockholm.
The programme for the two day meeting will contain a Chief Economists'
Panel, a Keynote Speaker and paper presentations on the following
themes:
? Economics of irrigated and rainfed agriculture,
? Economics of institutional design to manage hydrologicalv ariability,
? Economics of transboundary water management and
? Economics of water resources at large.
IWREC is now accepting submissions of full papers on the above
mentioned topics.
Authors of selected papers will be offered an opportunity to make a
presentation at the event and to be published in a water resource
economics book and in a special edition of a leading international
economics journal.
