Themetic Sessions for IWF 2012
The technical sessions for IWF 2012 have been grouped under the following thematic areas:
- Water Use Efficiency(WUE): An approach to water security
- Climate change and water vulnerability
- Urban water supply

- Allocation of roles between public authority
- Water demand management strategy and implementation
- Public involvement in water use efficiency
- Waste water treatment technologies
- Rural water supply

- Source sustainability and better service delivery for rural water supply facilities ?option and challenges
- Increasing water use efficiency in agriculture sector and Horticulture
- Inter sectoral issues and challenges for WUE
- Water use efficiency in power production
- Recent researches in WUE
- Economic regulation and water pricing
- Policy and governance framework for improving WUE
Guidelines
The interested participants are invited to submit abstracts (word format, not exceeding 1000 words) of their research work on any of the given key thematic areas or related themes by email to the Organizing Secretary or through the online submission not later than 31 May,2012. The abstracts should concisely summarize the theme, key research findings, and conclusions.The selected papers will be published in an edited book series on climate change and water.
