Faculty Recruitment Notification
NIT GOA is one of the 10 new NITs setup during XI plan period and is in its second year. Applications are invited from individuals who would enjoy the excitement of being associated with the setting up of a "world class teaching and research Institution". The individual should have a strong commitment for teaching and unequivocal flavor for research. The positions available are at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the regular cadre and on contract basis. Candidates who are likely to complete their PhD within the next few months are also encouraged to apply. If PhDs' are not available in certain branches, A high class bachelors and masters degree holders from reputed Institutions shall be considered on contract basis.

NIT Goa shall provide ample opportunities for both fundamental and applied research, development and consultancy activities. Start up grants shall be provided so as to enable them to attract funding from agencies like DST, CSIR as well as Global foundations and International agencies. Joint R&D programmes with other Institutions and Industry also shall be encouraged. Reservations shall be as per GOI norms.

Last date to receive the filled ? in prescribed applications is 14th May, 2012.
