B.S.M.P.G. College, Roorkee is organizing a three days National Seminar on Impact Of Polluted Environment and Global Warming on Agriculture on 03-05 December, 2010 and feels immense pleasure to invite you to participate.
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
India is primarily an agriculture country where about 70% of its population depends on the agricultural industries. The agricultural land are grown in the vicinity of the cities or in the factories areas on he out skirt of the cities and town due to ready market. It has been observed that poisonous gases released by the Industries have been adversely affecting the quality of agriculture yields and produce in such areas.Thus and ecosystem through out the country.
In view of hazards of atmospheric pollution and ecosystem both impact of their hazards are undertaking to study the comparative effect of pollutants and environmental hazards on production and improving the quality and quantity of the agricultural products. Due to that the main aim & objectives of their hazards are as follows:-
1. To find out the tolerance & susceptibility of agricultural land and their produce.
2. To find out the preventive measures of the injuries pattern on agriculture crops.
3. To find out the preventive measures of the degradation of the city skirt land and deterioration of the fertile land.
4. To find out the impact of Global Warming on Agriculture.

Travel and Accommodation
Boarding and lodging arrangements will be made for all the participants. It may be difficult for us to meet travel expenses of the all the participants. You are requested to get your TA/DA from your institution.
Fully completed registration form along with the demand draft in favour of Principal, B.S.M. P.G. College, Roorkee payable at Roorkee should be sent to the Principal/Organizing Secretary.
CALL FOR PAPERS
All Academicians, Scholars, Student, are invited to submit abstract of their paper for consideration. All submission will be subject to double blind peer review system. Each presenter will be given 10-12 minutes for presentation. Abstract strictly not exceeding 500 words and research paper not exceeding 3000 words typed in Hindi Kurti Dev 10, English typed A-4 size paper with 12 point font in Times New Roman. The paper should contain topic/title, name of author, mailing address, telephone No. and email address. Submission of paper via email is preferred and alternatively, one hard copy CD can be mailed to the following address
