A large part of the global economy continues to struggle to record meaningful growth and development. SMEs can inject new impetus to the sluggish economy that can lift overall performance. The World Association for Small & Medium Enterprises' (WASME) 19th annual International Conference on SMEs, is to be held under the theme: 'Beyond the downturn - Revitalising the global economy through small and medium enterprises' will examine SME policies and support programmes around the world that can increase SME contribution to lifting global economic performance in these challenging economic times. Conference delegates include policymakers in government, SME support agencies, SMEs, academics and researchers, consultants, business associations and financing institutions. Several international and local speakers are already confirmed. Conference registration is now open.
