We take the pleasure to inform you that Department of Economics, Christ University, Bangalore organizing a Three-Day Workshop on "Panel Data & Efficiency Modeling using LIMDEP" from 7^th to 9^th, April 2013.

The primary objective of the workshop is to provide orientation in essential Panel Data Econometrics relevant for research in Finance and Economics. The workshop provides an overview of relevant statistical techniques in economic and financial market analysis. The participants will offer hands-on practice in packages such as EVIEWS and LIMDEP. The workshop consists of the following modules:

1. Dummy Variables Method with computer applications

2. Panel data Models: Basic Concepts, Fixed effects and Random Effects

3. Panel data models: computer Applications with LIMDEP software

4. Stochastic Frontier (Panel) Models-Time invariant efficiencies

5. Stochastic Frontier (Panel) Models-Time varying efficiencies

6. Stochastic Frontier Models: Computer applications with LIMDEP Software

Registration Details

The workshop has both theory and practical sessions from 7^th to 9^th, April 2013. Only 50 participants will be considered on first come first serve basis.

**Check for availability before making of the Demand Draft

Interested candidates may send their filled-in Registration Form and Fee in the form of Demand Draft in favor of the "Christ University", payable at Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Applications should include a Registration form, Curriculum Vitae and the course fee.

Travel and Accommodation

Those who require accommodation have to pay Rs. 1100/- per day towards the same, which should be paid along with the Registration fee through Demand Draft (DD). The delegates are requested to make their own travel arrangements and no Travel Allowance will be paid to the delegates. The accommodation will be arranged only to the out station delegates on first come first serve basis. Advance intimation about travel plan of the delegates will be much appreciated.
