Course on Research Methods in Labour Economics from August 6-24, 2012 at VVGNLI, NOIDA

V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, NOIDA invites applications from young researchers and faculty members in colleges, universities and research institutions

to participate in a Course on Research Methods in Labour Economics during August 6-24, 2012. The objectives of the programme are to: (a) understand

various concepts and theories related to labour; (b) provide deeper understanding on the emerging issues in employment and labour in the context of globalization;

(c) equip participants with various research methods in labour studies and; (d) familiarise participants on major data sources and statistical packages used

in labour research. Minimum quali? cation for the applicants is Post Graduation in Social Sciences. No programme fee will be charged and the selected

candidates would be paid to and fro second-class sleeper Rail/ Bus fare from their place of work to NOIDA. The participants will be also provided free boarding

and lodging at the Institute's campus. Interested candidates may send their application form in the prescribed format downloadable from VVGNLI website
