The Institute has created Professor P R Brahmananda Endowment Research Fund with a donation from his family members. The Endowment Research Corpus will be utilised to award research grant to young researchers working in Monetary and Macroeconomics. The topic chosen for this year's research award is "Monetary and Credit Policies for Financial Inclusion and Inclusive Growth in India".

Interested young researchers are invited to send in their proposals for writing the Paper on the above mentioned research theme or submit completed paper, if any, for consideration. The Institute will offer a research award of Rs.35000/- for the best judged work which can be published in the Journal of Social and Economic Development or any other reputed refereed Journal. The author will have freedom to publish it elsewhere with due acknowledgement to the Institute and the Fund.

The proposals should reach the Institute, along with duly completed prescribed application form, on or before June 30, 2011.
