IBS Hyderabad : IBS Hyderabad, a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation
for Higher Education (IFHE), a Deemed to be University under section 3
of the UGC Act, 1956. Over a period of years, IBS has shown impressive
growth and received widespread recognition from business and industry,
academic circles, and professional bodies. IBS offers high quality
programs in different areas of management to a wide cross-section of
students, executives and professionals across India. It endeavors to
provide a high quality learning experience in an adaptive environment,
with a focus on relevance, rigor, and research. The mission of IBS is
to develop ethically grounded, professional managers who can add value
to the organizations and communities to which they belong.
IBS-Hyderabad has been consistently ranked among the top B-School
surveys every year.
The 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th Doctoral Theses Conferences, which were held,
during last four years received encouraging response in terms of
research theses contributed by researchers from various universities
and business schools from across the globe. We have also brought out a
volume of the proceedings each year. We would like to continue
conducting the conference to provide a platform for the research
scholars from all over the country to present their Doctoral work in
the area of Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations
Research, Marketing, Accounting, Insurance, Real-Estate and General
Management. All those scholars (may be a Full time/part-time research
scholars/practitioners working for Ph.D.) who are pursuing their Ph.D.
program or nearing completion of their work or have just submitted and
awaiting for viva voce examination or have recently completed, are
eligible to participate. The aspirants are requested to submit papers
from their ongoing/completed Ph.D. work. The scholars who are going to
complete or already completed their Ph.D. work are requested to submit
full paper. The selected best full length papers will be published in
the ICFAI University journals after due review process of the
respective journal.
Objective of the conference: To give feedback for the research
scholars who are in the process of submitting their thesis and to
identify the gap between theory and practice and to fill the gap with
suitable suggestions.
For full time Research Scholars: No registration fee is charged for
the full time research scholars. Accommodation and other hospitality
will be provided for the paper presenters. Sleeper class fare (non-ac
to and fro) will be reimbursed. (For exemption of registration fee ?
the research scholar has to submit a certificate of bonafide
candidature as a full-time research scholar duly signed by the
Dean/Head of the respective department).
For Part time Research Scholars: Rs.1000/- will be charged towards
registration fee for the Part time research scholars who are selected
to present their doctoral thesis.
For Foreign Research Scholars: No registration fee is charged for the
full time foreign research scholars who are selected to present their
doctoral thesis. Accommodation & other hospitality will be only
provided for the paper presenters. No travel reimbursement will be
made by the university.
For Delegates: A nominal registration fee of Rs.1000 will be charged
for other than paper presenters and the university will not provide
any accommodation, travel or conveyance to them.
The registration fees for the required candidates have to be paid
through a DD drawn in favor of IBS Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad.
The registration fee covers conference materials, proceedings on CD,
breakfast, lunch, and dinner during conference sessions/days, and
accommodation at IBS, Hyderabad campus. Once paid, the fee will not be
refunded. However, another candidate can be nominated against the same
fee. The filled-in registration form along with the DD should be sent
by addressing to conference chair (by register post only).

Last Date for abstract submission : 24th February, 2012
Last Date for full paper submission : 16th March, 2012
