POSDOC FELLOWSHIP

Applications are invited for Post-doctoral fellowship from the disciplines of Economics/Political Science/Sociology/History/Statistics. For details please visit our website www.idsk.edu.in/rntchds Fellowship amount will be Rs.32,000/- (consolidated) per month. Full pay protection will however, be given to in-service teachers. Fellowship will also cover the infrastructural facilities available at the Centre along with the cost of Software, ?eld-trip and other contingencies within the limit of Rs.50,000/- p.a. Tenure of the fellowship will initially be for one year extended by one more year on the basis of appraisal. Fellowship awardee is expected to research on a theme related to economic dimension of education & health; decentralization & governance; migration & displacements; energy & environment or economic history of trade, finance, investment, public health or gender issues. Selected candidates may like to opt

for writing papers/books based on his/her Ph.D. work or may pursue some research work of his/her own interest or may opt to be attached to the faculty member who is interested in a similar area.

Eligibility: Ph.D. in respective disciplines with consistently brilliant academic records. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and waiting for the results may also apply. Upper age limit should be 45 years.

How to apply: Each application should accompany the bio-data of the candidate along with a write-up of about 2000 words on the proposed research theme and the abstract of the thesis and at least one article published in a reputed journal or a chapter of the Ph.D thesis.

There is no dateline for receipt of the application. Application could be made at any time round the year. Selection process for each application would be completed within three months from the date of receipt of the applications.
