Vi affiliate member, Saint Petersburg State University (SPSU), has extended the deadline of its call for papers in preparation of its annual international conference, "Evolution of International Trading System: Prospects and Challenges," to be held October 9-10.
Organizers welcome contributions exploring the following themes: recent experiences with trade remedies in the WTO system; national economies and regions in the global trading system; prospects and challenges of integration of national companies into global value chains; economic sanctions in the system of trade policy tools; foreign economic collaboration of Russia's regions; modeling in international economics. Working languages are English and Russian.
Abstracts must be submitted online by July 15. A limited number of grants covering the conference fee is available. Requests will be accepted at the time of abstract submission.

Vi associate member, Amit K Kashyap, of India's Gujarat National Law University, invites Vi academics to submit contributions for his current editing project, "Financial market regulations and legal challenges in South Asia." The book, planned for 2015, aims to address the difficulties and challenges the regulatory environment of South Asian Financial Markets is facing with analysis of legal issues involved and prospective solutions.
Chapter proposals should be submitted by July 30 to [email protected] and [email protected].
