*Call for Applicants for "Young Scholar Grant" to attend 2012 NBER
Summer Institute *
**
Two young scholars (post doctorate/assistant professors) in economics
or finance will be offered funding to attend the 2012 NBER Summer
Institute. The intent is to enable promising young Indian researchers
to interact with top researchers around the world and benefit from
such exposure. For details see http://www.nber.org/summer-institute/.
Each chosen candidate will attend the NBER Summer Institute for a
period of two weeks.

A selection committee, set up by ICRIER, will identify the candidates.

Airfares and logistics will be arranged by ICRIER. In addition, each
candidate will get a stipend of $1500 to cover incidental expenses.

application should include the following:


  - An updated CV showing areas of research interest, recent research
activities and publications, and possible references.
  - Full contact details of the applicant
  - A cover letter
  - Up to three recent scholarly working papers, PhD thesis chapter or
  other published or unpublished research

The last date for submission of the application is February 3rd, 2012.
