Indian Institute of Dalit Studies (IIDS) is a premier social science research institute which undertakes scientific studies on the issues of social exclusion, discrimination, inequality, poverty and policies for inclusive growth with a focus on the development concerns of socially excluded communities and marginalized groups.
IIDS invites applications for the following positions:
Senior Fellow (Equivalent to Professor)
Qualifications: Ph.D in Economics/Sociology/Anthropology/Political Sciences with at least 10 years teaching/research experience.
Fellow (Equivalent to Associate Professor)
Qualifications: Ph.D in Economics/Sociology/Anthropology/Political Sciences with at least 5 years teaching/research experience
Candidates desirous to apply for the positions of Senior Fellow and Fellow should have high quality published work and sound research experience on the development issues of marginalized groups such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, religious minorities and women. Command over use of SPSS, STATA and other statistical packages with rigorous analytical skills would be an added advantage.For these positions, remuneration is as per the revised UGC scale.
