Requires DIRECTOR The Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) is a premier, national level centre for education, training, research and consultancy in rural management and allied fields. Founded in 1979, IRMA's mission is to promote all-round sustainable rural development through professional management. IRMA's flagship programme, the two-year postgraduate programme in Rural Management, has produced close to 2000 rural management professionals. Additionally, IRMA offers a range of management development programmes for mid-career professionals engaged in rural development. IRMA's faculty undertakes action-oriented and policy focused research and consultancy activities. IRMA is governed by a Board that includes some of India's best known development practitioners and thinkers. The faculty comprises of highly qualified members recognised among some of the finest social science and management talent in rural development academia. IRMA offers everything that a potential leader seeks in a job, where s/he can make a difference. IRMA is now looking for a new Director. The ideal candidate will be between 40-50 years of age and will possess the experience and personal qualities that will help IRMA fulfill its purpose. He/she would have led, or had significant experience in a reputed academic institution and/or a rural institution. The salary and perks offered are nationally competitive.
