Dear Sir / Madam,

It gives us immense pleasure to invite the M.Phil students, Doctoral students, and faculty candidates who have finished their doctoral program not earlier than 2011, of your institute/University, to participate in the 6th IIMA Doctoral Colloquium to be held on 8 & 9 January 2013, at the IIM, Ahmedabad campus. The event will kick off with a Doctoral Workshop, a full day event on research practices, to be held on on 7^th January, 2013. The details of the Colloquium and the Doctoral Workshop are available on the event webpage www.iima-dc.in

The Colloquium invites proposals based on the dissertation work of M.Phil students, doctoral students or candidates who have completed their doctoral program not earlier than 2011, in management and allied disciplines namely, Agri-Business Management, Business Policy, Computers and Information Systems, Economics, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Organizational Behaviour, Personnel and Industrial Relations, Production and Quantitative Techniques and Public Systems. The deadline for submitting the proposals is September 15, 2012. Proposals not exceeding 2000 words should be sent to [email protected] as per the guidelines specified on www.iima-dc.in. Proposals selected on the basis of blind review will be invited to present in the colloquium. Short abstracts/full proposals will be published in the proceedings of Doctoral Colloquium 2013 based on the candidates' preference; however candidates will retain all copyrights.

There will be various tracks / sessions, workshops and panel discussions. Certificates will be provided to all presenting authors and awards will be distributed to the best proposals in each session. Although the deadline to submit the proposals is 15 Sept, 2012, we strongly encourage you to do early submissions as the evaluations will be on rolling basis and we have very limited seats.
