It is increasingly realized that good governance is imperative for achieving higher order of growth. Given the fact that growth by itself does not guarantee wellbeing, we need good governance to achieve wellbeing. Economic growth accompanied by good governance can play a vital role in enhancing wellbeing. Thus, an efficient structure of governance assumes special significance to induce growth and ensure wellbeing. This is a challenge across the globe. Keeping this in view, this Conference aims at bringing together scholars under the central theme of 'Governance and Wellbeing'. This is the Eighth successive conference organized by IBS Bangalore (IBSB), with a view to provide a platform for researchers in Economics and Finance areas.

All papers submitted will be reviewed through double blind review process and paper accepted for presentation will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Subsequently, a few selected papers will be published in an edited volume, subject to the transfer of copyright by the author.
