Executive Editor ? EPW
EPW is looking for an Executive Editor This is a challenging position in India's respected weekly of informed comment which is also the country's leading social science journal.
The Executive Editor will be based in Mumbai. Her/his responsibilities will involve commissioning articles, deciding on content, overseeing weekly production, interacting with
current and potential authors of EPW and also writing on current affairs. She/he will work with the Editor and the larger Editorial Team. The candidate should preferably be around 45 and have some experience in both academics and the media. Compensation: Salary for this Number 2 position in the journal will be in line with that of senior personnel in the journal. Residential accommodation will be provided in Mumbai. EPW has never been able to offer market salaries but it makes up by offering candidates the opportunity to shape debate in public policy.
