CALL FOR PAPERS

It is with great pleasure I announce that the Department of Economics is going to publish Rabindra Bharati University Journal of Economics, Vol VII (ISSN No. 0975-802X).

Faculty members and research scholars from various universities, colleges and Research Institutes are requested to send theoretical and empirical research papers on any branch of Economics. The deadline for submission is 15th November 2012.Two hard copies of the paper should be sent to the following address:

Apart from this One soft copy (MS WORD/PDF) of the paper should be sent as an email attachment at [email protected]. Each paper should be prefaced by a summary / abstract of not more than 300 words along with key words, JEL Classification, communication details including the address, e-mail ID, and phone number of the author/s.

Manuscripts must be typed in Times New Roman with 12 font size in double line spacing and of margins of 2.5 cm. The length of the paper should not exceed 25 typed

pages including graphs, tables and references. Tables and figures should be inserted in the text at the point of reference. Each table should comprise with a suitable title and source; source should be mentioned below the table. Footnotes should be numbered consecutively and placed below the text on the same page of the article. Reference section should follow the format given below:

1. Gravell, H. and Reese, R. (1992) : Microeconomics,2nd edition, Longman, London.

2. Sarkar, A. (1989) : "A Keynesian Model of North-South Trade", Journal of

Development Economics,30:179-188.

All the papers will be refereed. Authors of all selected papers will be intimated in due course.
