Call for Papers

The OBAC_CYSD and Dept. of Economics, Berhampur University are jointly organizing a workshop on "IDENTIFYING STRATEGIES AND APPROACH FOR SELECTED DEVELOPMENT SECTORS IN THE TWELFTH FIVE YEAR PLAN OF ODISHA" on 22nd November 2011 at Bhubaneswar. Abstracts of papers within 500 words on the topic mentioned above are invited from researchers, teachers and policymakers and public finance practitioners to be taken up for discussion and finalisation of the strategy of the 12th plan of Odisha on or before 30th November 2011 through e-mail in the Id [email protected] and [email protected]. The state planning board members are likely to attend and participate in the discussion. It is proposed to take up the discussion for the following departments.

1.Education;

2.Health;

3. Agriculture;

4.SC and ST Development;

5.Women and Child Development;

6.Housing andUrban Development;

7.PanchayatiRaj;

8.RuralDevelopment;

9.Water Supply and Sanitation;

10.Food and Civil Supplies; and

11.Forest and Environment.

Authors are requested to come out with specific suggestions on the inclusion and deletion of different schemes available in the Plan demand for grants for the department
