Specialization in: macro economics, energy/environment economics, public finance, international economics, finance, and economic issues of developing countries -- with specific interests in industry, agriculture, international trade and public finance.
Pay Scale:PB3: 15600-39100; AGP: 8000 with a minimum pay of 30,000 plus allowances. After completion of 3 years of service in PB3, they will be placed in PB-4: 37,400-67,000 with AGP 9000 plus allowances.
Qualifications:
One should have a Ph.D, with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout, with excellent publications and a minimum of six years' teaching/research experience in reputed institutions, of which, at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor in (a) reputed institution(s).
