Wanted an Academic Fellow for the Forum on Contemporary Theory, Baroda
The Forum on Contemporary Theory is a non-profit organization devoted to research in areas of inter-disciplinary studies. It is currently supported by a grant from the Ford Foundation, New Delhi. It has a vacancy for the position of an Academic Fellow, preferably in an area of social sciences. Candidates interested in the position are required to send their application and curriculum vitae via email attachment by September 25, 2011 to [email protected]
Required qualification: Ph.D., preferably in any of the Social Sciences and good command over written and spoken English.The responsibilities include: Conceptualizing and organizing various academic programmes, drafting research proposals and reports, undertaking independent research work, assisting in publishing the Forum's Newsletter and Journal, mentoring young scholars, etc.
Short-listed candidates will be called to meet the selection committee in Baroda at their own cost. The consolidated salary per month is: Rs. 40,000/ (Rupees forty thousand only). For details about the Forum, please visit its website: www.fctworld.org
