Programme Management Unit of IHCAP is looking to hire a Senior Programme Officer and Programme Associate as full time consultants for its field unit to be based at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh as below:

IHCAP is an Indo-Swiss bilateral cooperation programme for Capacity Building on Climate Change Science and Adaptation. The programme responds to the felt needs of the climate vulnerable people in the mountain regions, increasing stress on natural resources, and national/state government action on climate change. The programme aligns with the National Action Plan on Climate Change and specifically, with the National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan Ecosystem (NMSHE) with an overall goal that resilience of vulnerable communities in the Himalayas is strengthened and knowledge and capacities of research institutions, communities, and decision-makers are connected and enhanced.
