Network with colleagues during the evening reception, lunch, and coffee breaks. This conference is affiliated with the Journal of Business and Economics in Times of Crisis (JOBETOC). THEME We welcome presentations on crisis-related topics from various disciplines, especially from economics, finance, business administration, psychology, and other relevant fields. PROGRAM Besides the academic sessions, there will be plenty of opportunity to network during the conference lunch, coffee breaks, and the evening reception. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION Persons interested in presenting their paper at our conference must submit their abstract before July 18. Abstracts should be sent via e-mail to: [email protected] PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES: PROCEEDINGS AND PEER-REVIEWED JOURNAL Papers are published in the conference proceedings, if the authors choose this option, and may be considered for publication in our peer-reviewed Journal of Business and Economics in Times of Crisis. The conference is directly affiliated with the journal. CONFERENCE LOCATION Lisbon is the perfect location for our crisis-themed conference. Having been struck by a major economic and financial crisis, Portugal is taking consistent steps towards recovery. It is an interesting case study for academic researchers from around the world. Besides this, Lisbon offers to its visitors many places to see and experience. This beautiful city is rich in both history and modernity that is visible in the city's characteristic historical neighborhoods and monuments, and in the modern architecture and lifestyle. The Portuguese cuisine is excellent, and there are also many opportunities to taste food from Portuguese-speaking countries around the world. THE ORGANIZING SOCIETY The symposium is organized by the Lupcon Center for Business Research. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Germany, this organization has the mission to enhance the collaboration between businesses and academia through the organization of academic conferences, the publication of research, and the offering of seminars.
