Applications are invited for the post of a Research Assistant for the project Left Politics in the functioning democracies of South Asia ? exploring means of democratic transformation:

Theory and practice. Candidates must have an M.A. degree in Political Science, or History, or Sociology, or International Relations, with preferably knowledge of Left Politics and

Democratic Governance in South Asia. The candidate needs to be computer savvy as well and some research experience is desirable. A consolidated salary of Rs.12,000/- per month will be paid and the project period will last one year till the end of 2013. However, the initial employment will be for a period of 3 months which can be extended subject to the performance of the candidate.
