Pay Band : Rs.37,400 ? 67,000 with a Grade Pay Rs10,000/- plus admissible allowance

i) Unless already in the service of Universities or affiliated colleges are not less than 45 years of age.

ii) Master's Degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 points in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

iii) Atleast 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7,000 and above or with 8 year's of service in the AGP of Rs.8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration .or Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education.or 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.2) (i) Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master's level for the SC, ST and Physically Handicapped category (ii) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders who have passed the Master's Degree prior to September 19, 1991, (iii) B in the seven points scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed.

Nature of Appointment:

Appointment of the Registrar shall be for a term of five years or the date of retirement whichever is earlier and he/she shall be eligible for re-appointment for only one more term of five years.
