There is currently one or two PhD scholarship opportunity in Water Engineering and Management in the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at AIT.
The scholarship donor is Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA). The doctoral research should be related to poverty alleviation and sustainable development in accordance to the objective of the NMFA-AIT Cooperation.
Women candidates are encouraged; research should be conducted in home country; recipients are obliged to return to their home countries for strengthening institutional capacities; scholarship application should be submitted directly to AIT. Please see the following link

The candidates working with universities/ government research and other organizations are preferred.
If your academic qualifications and other requirements match well, you need to apply within few days (by the end of May 2011) which is very much possible.
