Focus Areas
The seminar will centre on the theme of fiscal federalism. Research scholars can present their original works before the experts. The important areas include Revenue and Expenditure of local self governments, borrowing, transferred functions, Service Delivery and Finance Commissions. Papers making use of inter-disciplinary approach are also welcome.
Publication of Papers
All papers submitted will be reviewed by experts and papers accepted for presentation will be published in the Seminar proceedings. Subsequently, selected papers will be published in an edited volume, subject to the transfer of copyright by the author.

The Venue
Nirmala College founded in 1953, is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. The college is managed by the Diocese of Kothamangalam and is re-accredited at B++ by NAAC. The college is located in a sprawling campus at Muvattupuzha, the eastern part of Ernakulam district, 35 kms from Cochin International Airport. Muvattupuzha is the gateway to the High Ranges and Munnar, a tourist and biodiversity hotspot.
