DAKAM's LIT CRI '15 will search for new answers by bringing forward new questions of literature and will question if it is possible to create a literary system in a world in which power relations always change. The conference aims to throw light on the role of literature as a medium of cultural memory and as a field of exploration of remembrance.

AWARDS
The Best Papers will be awarded during the conference. The Best Paper Award will be announced at the closing session of the conferences. The award will be decided by the participants' votes only. All papers presented at the conferences will be nominated automatically and voting will take place just before the closing session.
The results will be announced from the official conference site and a voucher for a free registration in one of the next year's events organised by DAKAM will be given to the author.

PUBLICATION
The full papers are going to be published in the proceedings book with an ISBN number before the conference and to be available online in DAKAM's digital library. FORM DISCUSSIONS

LIT CRI '15 aims to provide a platform for dicussions and research, which consider various aspects of literature as a memorial medium to contribute to the larger discussion of the ways in which societies recollect their past and as a field of observation of personal memory to explore and experience the complexities of the mind and emotions. The conference is open to several points of view in terms of literature and memory:

1) Conceiving literature as a medium of remembrance
2) Observing the production of cultural and personal memory in literature
3) Looking to literature as a tool to explore the concepts of remembrance and amnesia
4) Dealing with comparative exploration of the impact that memory practices had on the forging of new identities and literature
5) The relation between personal and public memory practices in societies

Focusing to literature and memory at the same time will reveal and sum up several recent studies in last couple of decades and it will metaphorically suit to the myth of Mnemosyne who was not only the goddess of memory but also the mother of the muses, the goddesses of the various arts.
