LIT CRI '15 Call for Papers: MEMORY AND LITERATURE LITCRI '15 / IV. Literary Criticism Conference will be held on November 12-14 in Istanbul. The conference is coordinate by DAKAM (Eastern Mediterranean Research Center), organized by BILSAS (Science, Art, Sport Productions) and hosted by NHKM (Nazim Hikmet Cultural Center). http://www.litcriconference.org/ DAKAM's LIT CRI '15 will search for new answers by bringing forward new questions of literature and will question if it is possible to create a literary system in a world in which power relations always change. The conference aims to throw light on the role of literature as a medium of cultural memory and as a field of exploration of remembrance. AWARDS The Best Papers will be awarded during the conference. The Best Paper Award will be announced at the closing session of the conferences. The award will be decided by the participants' votes only. All papers presented at the conferences will be nominated automatically and voting will take place just before the closing session. The results will be announced from the official conference site and a voucher for a free registration in one of the next year's events organised by DAKAM will be given to the author. PUBLICATION The full papers are going to be published in the proceedings book with an ISBN number before the conference and to be available online in DAKAM's digital library. The book will be sent to be reviewed for inclusion in the "Thomson and Reuters Web of Science's Conference Proceedings Citation Index" (CPCI) and Google Scholars. Nâzim Hikmet Cultural Center hosts several art and academic events in different disciplines every month. NHKM, named after one of the legendary modern Turkish poets - Nâzim Hikmet, has been established in 1996 and located in Kadiköy. Kadiköy is a large and cosmopolitan district of Istanbul, facing the historic city centre on the other side of the Bosporus.
