The director of the Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) directorate at the National Science Foundation, Myron Gutman, has issued a Dear Colleague Letter regarding "Interdisciplinary Research Across the SBE Sciences." Anyone with an interest in NSF's support for this research should read this important letter, which lays out the directorate's and NSF's vision for interdisciplinary social science.
