eIRB is Live: No More Paper forms for IRB submissions


This note is from Deb Paxton, IRB Director. Please note that training materials are available for this system. In the short run, this will take some adjustment time. In the long run, this will make IRB processing more efficient and predictable. 


Dear NCSU colleagues,

On December 1, 2014, the NCSU Institutional Review Board (IRB) implemented a completely on-line submission system (eIRB).  This system is used for new submissions, revisions of approved submissions (amendment), and requests for continuing review (renewal).  PAPER SUBMISSIONS ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED.

You can access the live system at the following URL:

https://www3.acs.ncsu.edu/hs/irb.php 

You will need to sign in with your unity ID and password.  The system grants access to projects based upon unity ID - your unity ID must be associated with a project either as the project PI or as "additional personnel" in order for you to access the project.
