V.V. Giri National Labour Institute, NOIDA invites applications from young researchers for a Course on Research Methods in Labour Economics to be held during November 01-21, 2011 at the Institute's Campus. Research Scholars in various universities and institutions pursuing academic degrees such as M.Phil and PH.D., faculty members of academic institutions, as well as candidates from various governmental departments and organisations, interested in pursuing research in labour studies could apply for the Course. The Course offers opportunities for rigorous exercises in conceptualising, designing and operationalising research pertaining to labour studies. It provides the participants prospects for intensive interaction with renowned scholars and practitioners in the area of labour studies. There is no programme fee. The selected candidates would be provided to and fro sleeper class train fare and also free boarding and lodging in the Institute's Campus. Application along with the C.V. and a brief write up expressing the utility of the course may be forwarded to Dr S.K.
