Call for papers @ Viswabharati University

CALL FOR PAPER

The Planning Unit of the Department of Economics and Politics, Visva-Bharati is going to organize a two-day conference on "Rural Development and Planning in India" during 16-17 March, 2012. Papers are invited on following themes though the list is not exhaustive:

1. Agricultural developemnt.

2. Rural infrastructure.

3. Women and child welfare.

4. Public health.

Last date of submission of full papers: 15th January, 2012.

Intimation about the acceptance of paper: 1st February, 2012

Papers should be written in MS-WORD format along with an abstract not exceeding 250 words with JEL classifications and keywords and the top page of the paper should contain full corresponding address of the author(s) along with e-mail and telephone numbers. Papers should be submitted to the Conveners, Seminar Organizing Committee at [email protected] The organizers will provide local hospitality to the outstation paper presenters on request but no TA/DA will be provided. The registration fee for the participants is Rupees One Thousand Only. An edited volume would be published through double blind review process.
