The 40th Australasian Universities Building Education Association (AUBEA) 6 to 8 July 2016 Pullman Hotel, Cairns, Australia Dear Colleagues, CQUniversity is proudly hosting the 40th annual AUBEA conference focusing on Radical Innovation in the Built Environment (http://aubea.org/). We are now calling for abstracts for this conference ? the theme of the conference is Radical innovation in the Built Environment. Topics may include, but are not limited to, the following; 1. Education -Radical innovation in teaching technology development and application -Training, teaching and learning -Policy and practice -Challenges for Radical Innovation in VET, HE, RTOs and Professional Organisation 2. Industry -Radical innovation in technology development and application (e.g. BIM, SCM, maintenance, etc) -Building materials, building facilities and services -Innovation in building design (building performance, fire, safety, etc) -Challenges for building regulations, legislation and licensing 3. Other -Research or current practice not aligned with any of the above themes. This can include incomplete projects, works in progress, or other initiatives that have not yet resulted in reportable outcomes.
