The ISBASS is intended to be a lively forum for academics, professionals and practitioners to meet and discuss the most recent developments in business and social science in a less than formal and interdisciplinary setting. Thus we particularly welcome papers that employ interdisciplinary approaches; topics of interest can be drawn from areas such as accounting, business administration, economics, finance, management, political science, sociology, international studies, public administration and so on. Participation Procedure Potential authors and listeners who are interested in this symposium should note that the whole participation procedure involves up to 7 steps, each of which should be carefully followed. Step 1. Grow interest Glance over our website and find your topic of interest. Papers in the research disciplines across business and social science are greatly welcomed. Topics of interest may range from accounting, banking, finance, economics, management, business law, e-business to sociology, law, political science and philosophy. "Call for Papers" can provide you with more details about our field of research interest. Step 2. Register as a member Those who would like to be part of our audience should complete the registration process by no later than 25 May, 2013. For more information on other key dates, please refer to "Important Dates". Step 3. Submit your final paper or abstract Authors must ensure that their papers have been submitted on our website before 10 May, 2013. For more details about basic submission rules, please read the following instruction: Language: English Abstract length: no more than 500 words Full paper: 8 pages (including all figures and tables, exclusive of the reference) Key words: 3-5 words Font: 12 point Margin: 1 inch Page numbers: Bottom-centered Format: MS Word-compatible file Authors are welcome to submit papers presenting original research result that are not, have not, and will not be under consideration for other conferences or journal publications. All papers must be submitted to the ISBASS website. Accepted and presented papers at the conference will be published by the ISBASS in the CD of proceedings and may be considered for inclusion in the journals in cooperation with the ISBASS. Plagiarism involves the stealing of the ideas or words of others as ones own, the use of others production without citing the source, or presenting as new and original an idea derived from an existing source (for more detail, please visit http://plagiarism.org/plagiarism-101/what-is-plagiarism). Accordingly, plagiarism constitutes an act of fraud, and should be cautiously avoided and is strongly prohibited. Step 4. Receive the acceptance or rejection letter Step 5. Pay for registration fee in the case of acceptance Authors who will present their brainchild at the conference, be it oral or poster, will have to pay 400 USD; whereas the fee for listeners will cost 250 USD. Payments can be made either through Paypal or your local bank. So long as your payment is successful, you will receive the invitation letter for VISA or other administrative purposes. Step 6. Participate in the conference There are two forms of presentation, oral and poster. The length of the oral presentation is approximately 10-15 minutes. As for the poster presentation, presenters will have to prepare for themselves the materials needed and comply with the standard format. Publication Opportunities Accepted and presented papers at the conference will be published by the ISBASS in the official CD of proceedings and may be considered for inclusion in the journals in cooperation with the ISBASS, which include: The Journal of Engineering and Technology Research, Management Research Review, Journal of Emerging Technologies in Web Intelligence, Antiqua and International Journal of Manpower.
